All meters installed in the M-Bus system can be read centrally in a very easy way without a polarity difference over a single cable. Another option is to transfer data directly from the counter or to an external central controller, the counter indices are displayed and the cost sharing is made accordingly. Atlas mechanical and ultrasonic calorimetry offers wired M-Bus system as standard in all products. All Atlas calorimeters can be connected to the M-BUS system and can be read remotely via the website www.payolcer.com with Atlas M-BUS converters and Atlas GSM modems without requiring any additional changes. Can be read and questioned via your existing computer with the ATLAS Heat expense sharing program.
The M-bus is the communication protocol in accordance with TS EN 1434-3 and is used to transmit the meter information. For central heating, central hot water use and central cold water usage, it is used to read meters with M-bus interface and to measure consumption values from a single center. All meters are connected in parallel to the M-bus main communication line. The M-Bus main communication line is connected to the converter located in the reading center by a single input.
Using Atlas M-Bus Converter (Data Collector), you can query 250 meters with a single converter. Model: ATL250
With the Atlas Calorimeter RF system, you can read your Atlas Calorimeters remotely without requiring any wiring. With the RF system that can be applied to both Mechanical and Ultrasonic type calorimeters, you can query all the meters in your building with Atlas RF hand terminal or modem, over the internet and perform the sharing process.
Required equipment:Atlas Calorimeter It is used to measure the heat energy spent in heating and cooling systems. It is used in systems with common collector (mobile) in the building structure which is heated with central system. The heat meter calculates the difference between by measuring the flow temperature and the return temperature with external and internal temperature sensors. It also measures the amount of water passing through the plumbing with the flow meter. The heat meters that calculate the heat energy consumed with these measured values provide the distribution of the heat cost according to the consumption values.
Atlas Calorimeter, Ultrasonic and Mechanical flow meter options are available. It is produced in hybrid structure which can be used in heating and cooling systems and fully compatible with automation systems. Wired and wireless communication options are available. It can be connected to standard automation systems without any additional operation and can be directly interrogated on the internet by entering from www.payolcer.com For Atlas Calorimeter prices please contact us.
Calorimeters used in heating systems and used to measure the heat energy are basically working with two different method.
1- MECHANICAL HEAT METERS
2- ULTRASONIC HEAT METERS
Mechanical calorimeters work with the principle that water crossed with hitting the turbine and in the meantime turbine speed measurement. The working principle is shown in the figure below.
There are two different types. One of them is the single jet, the system where water enters from a point and leaves the meter at a point. Another is the multi jet model, where water enters the meter from many points and leaves again. Calorimeter with multi jet system provide to more healthy measurement and longer service life.
The other type of calorimeter is ultrasonic calorimetry. Ultrasonic calorimetry has no moving parts. Measurement is provide with the sound waves in the water is delayed. Basically, the ultrasonic calorimeter is always long lasting and healthy, but in dirty systems the ultrasonic calorimeter has the disadvantage about measuring.
